Kelley Munro's Homepage

HI!! My name is Kelley Munro and as I thought "everyone" seems to be getting a Home Page I figured it was time to get on the bandwagon. What you will find here are links to my areas of interest.

I am the proud mother of an eleven year old boy named Jonathan.  As you would imagine he keeps me pretty busy with his constant activities and his abundant energy.  Fortunately I have a wonderful support system that helps me tremendously with him.  The number one helper with him is my mother.  She is a wonderful person who has dedicated much of her life in the helping of raising my son.   I would like to take this opportunity to thank her for all her hard work and to tell her that I love her!

I work for a company called Coastal Envirnomental Systems, where we manufacture and sell all over the world, Data Aquisition Systems for multiple purposes.   My job is currently changing and some of what I am doing now is working on our website, Systems Administration for our MIS system, and various other things as they come up.

One of the things that fills up any "free" time that I might have, is my interest in recreating the Middle Ages. I belong to a Nonprofit educational organization dedicated to recreating many of the potentially lost arts and sciences of the period of time prior to the 17^th century. This is done by going out together on a given weekend and living the middle ages over again. Or at least as we think it should have been done. Just think the romance and daring do of knights and their ladies without fear of the plague!! See my link to the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) for further information on the Society.

I am also a proud member of the Vashon Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie #3144.  It consists of a wonderful group of people that get together and have lots of fun.  One of the things that we do is raise funds for various different charities throughout the year.  Among those charities; Jimmy Durante for children, The Heart Fund, and Alzheimer's.  We do this by putting on functions and we have managed to raise quite a bit of money over the years.  Please click on the link below for more information on the Eagles and Vashon Aerie # 3144.
