White Ash is a household of gentles within the organization of the Society for Creative Anachronism. The SCA is a non-profit educational organization that is dedicated to the historical research of Pre 17th C. Civilization, predominantly Western Europe. We facilitate this by recreating what we have learned. We will come together and hold Wars and Tourneys in the style of Western European Middle Ages. A household is generally a group of individuals with similar interests that decide to become a group. Many times it is a way to reduce the cost of going to "events" by sharing the overall food and supply costs between the group. It can be cheaper to feed many then a few. ;) Our household of White Ash is a group of friends that started camping together because that is all we knew. We quickly became a house that is becoming renowned for our culinary skills and hospitality. We have been known to serve a breakfast of Eggs Benedict with home made Hollandaise for 12. We also include in our numbers constables and other helpers. So okay some of us like to volunteer. ;) House White Ash is located in the Barony of Madrone in the Kingdom of An Tir.
